Description
Queen Antoinette presided over a church called 1 Mind Ministries,
though the mind in question seemed not to be hers. The Baltimore cult
leader was convicted this month of ordering the execution of a
16-month-old boy by starvation because he did not say "Amen" before
eating. The boy, Javon Thompson, was killed in late 2006 or early 2007.
Antoinette, whose real name is Toni Sloan, was found guilty of
first-degree murder and child abuse that led to the boy's death. Two of
her followers, daughter Princess Trevia Williams and Prince Marcus
Cobbs, also were convicted. Each of them could earn up to 60 years
behind bars at their May sentencing. |
